I painted Circulatory at the height of 2020 when life seemed to be just going on and on all around us. I had to work through prayer, mediatation, journaling, exercise, diet to remain calm and not completely lose my mind. Her calmness in this piece brings me back to that place of calm and quiet acceptance.
