This piece is apart of my Melanin Series and responds to the African diasporic questioning of Christianity that is taking place during this time. Black people across the world are questioning our religious roots, whether that means reading the bible upside down and backwards or deliberately flipping it upside down. New connections are being made about our religious origins and how Christianity is deeply apart of our heritage.
